Blogging in 2012

Today I start my blog with new thoughts and ideas. I’ve been mulling around writing more and have some topics that I would like to discuss. I have several blog-related goals for this year:

  1. Become a more proficient writer. I enjoy editing more than writing, but I would really like to improve my writing skills. I believe two ways to do that are to read more and write more. I plan to do both this year.
  2. Share my thoughts and experiences from life. I certainly do not have all the answers in life (only God does!), but sharing can help others through similar circumstances and provide a bridge to discuss various topics.
  3. Learn. Learn from others. Learn more about myself. Learn more about God. Writing forces you to think. Writing creates an archive of thoughts.
  4. Share the Gospel. God created man. Man sinned. Jesus Christ came with to pay the penalty for that sin and provide the free gift of eternal life to all who trust in Him. Let’s talk.

I’m a technologist with a passion for God. I have experience in computer programming, web development, church leadership, senior pastor search team, children’s ministry, being a husband and father, coaching youth sports teams, mentoring children, etc.

I hope to share the various places that these experiences and passions intersect in this thing we call life.
